No. A stock WordPress registration form has no invite-code option. The User Registration & Membership plugin adds an Invitation Code field you can add to any form through the drag-and-drop builder.
Yes. Open any form in the builder, drag in the Invitation Code field, and set its label, placeholder, and tooltip to match the rest of your form.
The registration form blocks the sign-up. You write the messages shown for invalid, expired, and usage-limit-reached codes from Settings > Registration & Login > Messages.
Yes. Each code can override the form’s default user role, so one registration form can register Subscribers, Contributors, or any custom role you’ve set up, depending on which code was entered.
